A Journey of a Student Teacher

Reflection        Outreach program like this causes an overwhelming feeling. Because you can’t do it everyday and you can’t see hundreds of smiles everyday that you know you are the reason why they are happy. Moreover, it is more overwhelming that you are able to give back to my cooperating school and to the students who treated me the way a teacher should be treated. It also makes me realized that I’m more fortunate than others, so I will continued giving without expecting in return. I’m very thankful for this experience, I’ve realized many things in life.

Reflection     These learners’ works and feedbacks, are my treasures. These are the proof that I can become a full pledge teacher.   These outputs of the students are the proofs that I taught them well, because they manage to made an output with the lesson I taught to them, outputs that are not just outputs the we called “pwede na” but outputs that are made by the students who truly learned.   

Title: Designing the Physical Environment of the Classroom (Everstone, Emmer, and Worshman, 2003) Synopsis: It is about the four basic principles in arranging the classroom environment. First, reduce congestion, it is a strategy where it make sure that the classroom has enough space so the students and teacher can move through the room without difficulty, second, clear line of sight, it is an another strategy that make sure that you can easily see all students, third, often-used teaching materials easily accessible, another strategy that make sure that the materials that are often used are very easy to access, and lastly, can easily observe whole-class presentation, it aims that the students should have a clear view in the presentation whether where they are in the classroom. This four strategies will help the teachers and incoming teachers to properly arrange the class room environment. Reference: Facilitating Learning Book
